PMMA Acrylic - WE LOVE IT!
A glass-like look, a playful vibe, and a rich design history—PMMA acrylic has it all. You might know it better as Plexiglas, but for us, it’s the most beautiful material ever.
Why? Because it bends light in a unique way, creating a beautiful fragmentation that adds just that little extra to any interior. It’s less classic than glass but just as stylish. PMMA was all the rage in interior design from the 50s to the 70s, and guess what? It’s still a total icon. This tough material might scratch, but it won’t wear out—and that’s exactly the point. Our KNIKS are made to be part of daily life. Scratches? They tell the story of use, of moments, of a KNIK that’s truly lived in.
And practical? Oh, absolutely! PMMA is UV- and water-resistant, so our KNIKS feel just as at home in the bathroom as they do in the garden. From indoors to outdoors and back again—they’re always up for the ride.
